Hello all! My name is Susan and I was introduced to the Jeep community by my husband, Matt, when he bought his 2021 JL Sport in October 2021. He has owned Jeeps in the past for his daily and for offroading and was excited to own another one. For the past 16 years, I thought German cars were my niche having owned a VW and a BMW. I was so wrong! I loved my husband's Jeep and got my first Jeep in April 2022 - a 2022 JLU Rubicon.
Matt's JL is called Barbie since Barbie has all the accessories! Barbie is Jeep we will do a real build on. We've started to get it trail ready this year. He started with a Barricade front bumper and Badland 12K winch and just added 35" MT Baja Boss tires, 18" Mammoth wheels, and a 3.5" inch Teraflex lift. Next up will be a re-gear since Barbie has lost some of her spunk with the bigger tires. He's very proud that she is a 2-door and has a manual transmission!
We decided on a JLU Rubicon for me so we had something trail ready at the get-go and more room for cargo. I decided to call her Buffy the Trail Slayer, a play on the title of my favorite TV show. Our dog, Loki, has claimed the back passenger seat as his own. Loki loves riding around Delware County, PA, hanging out the window in his signature RexSpecs goggles to protect his eyes from road and trail debris. He draws a lot of attention and is constantly getting his picture taken!
We have big plans for Barbie and Buffy and both are an investment in our travel plans for years to come. We can't wait to stay local and off-road at Rausch Creek, AOAA and other trails. Our ultimate goal is to build our off-road skills and travel out to Moab, UT to do the Top of the World trail. The first time I saw the many beautiful and awe-inspiring photos from the Jeep community, I knew it was something I absolutely had to do.
Hey all, hello from beautiful cosmopolitan Yulee, FL World renowned for being the 1st exit in Florida on I-95 after you leave Georgia (Oh yeah, we're also Derrick Henry's hometown). Anyway, I go by Kranky and have an '18 2dr Willys (black). I'm also friends with Jake and Ashley Hayden so I may be kind of a big deal, I ain't sayin' I'm just sayin'. Originally from the western Chicago suburbs.
We are the overlanding couple Mike and Betsy in our jeep "Nomad". So far in 2021 we started in Key West, as that is where we ended 2020. We came home to Red Lion PA. Spring was local trips as we got the rig ready for more long range adventures. July and August were spend on a 6 week trip to the Pacific Northwest. We explored the Unorganized Territories of Northern Maine in October. We depart tonight 12/21/2021 for Key West...
Greetings all. My name is Harry. Quite a few of the staff have had The Misfortune of Wheeling with me. My current ride is an 09 jku known as Medusa. I bought it used, and have not changed a lot from what the previous owner had done. That's going to have to a come to a screaming halt soon
The much better half as a 2020 jlu Rubicon recon known as Jezebel. Hers is running on a Mopar lift, with fuel Hardline Wheels, 35 inch ko2, and a few other odds and ends.
